Membrane roofs last decades longer when protected from damage and exposure due to weather, UV, mechanical abuse and vandalism.

LightGuard is a lightweight interlocking insulating ballast for low slope roofs. It is suitable for new roofing systems as well as adding thermal value and protection to existing roofs.

HeavyGuard is similar to LightGuard but with a durable topping for greater wear and impact resistance. Both LightGuard and HeavyGuard are available in a variety of colors and aesthetic treatments. Warranties are 10-20 years and available for complete assemblies from the deck up. System compatibility includes virtually all membrane options from most major manufacturers.

Styrofoam Roofmate is extruded polystyrene manufactured for protected membrane assemblies using gravel or pavers as ballast, or as additional insulation under LightGuard or HeavyGuard.

Styrofoam Plazamate is extruded polystyrene used for areas with higher than basic foot traffic.

Styrofoam Deckmate and Deckmate Plus are XEPS products designed for use below membranes. These products are particularly well suited for use with single ply membranes in low slope installations and beneath sloped metal roofing. Use Deckmate Plus when additional performance and compression support is appropriate, or when a re-use warranty is desired.
